The daily turnout at Shipley lane follows 'best practice' of turnout in small groups. New arrivals are integrated over a period of time into such a group of mares or geldings.

Pasture management is rotated around fields close to the farm steading, open aspects in summer and sheltered fields for winter grass liveries are mix grazed with farm stock to reduce the worm burden. Regular worm egg counts are carried out - most are clear - and target worming practised to avoid resistance.

The wide range of stabling options all have rubber flooring – modern barn, traditional onto open yard and internal boxes- enable individual horses to be kept according to their needs in relaxed and happy surroundings.

All livery owners receive a free weekly instructional hack or class lesson as well as 20% discount on private lessons and free use of facilities. Miles of good hacking and easy access to the beach and local competition centres make Shipley Lane the perfect centre for anyone who has a passion for horses.
